I primarily utilize Third-Wave Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Process-Based CBT. Specific interventions are also integral to gold-standard treatment including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, and trauma-focused therapies such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE) for PTSD.
Dr. Todd is a clinical psychologist with extensive training in evidence-based practices for PTSD and serious mental illness. Her therapeutic approach draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), specifically Prolonged Exposure (PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). She approaches therapy as a collaborative process where clients can clarify what matters most to them and build skills to navigate challenges and move from feeling stuck to rebuilding and improving their lives and relationships. At the center of this approach is a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, respect, and autonomy to lead to lasting change through support and empowerment.
Dr. Todd completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology through the CUNY Graduate Center at John Jay College in 2023.
